SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government Thursday ordered a magisterial inquiry in the Hyderpora encounter.
“A magisterial inquiry by officer of ADM rank has been ordered in the Hyderpora encounter. Govt will take suitable action as soon as the report is submitted in a time-bound manner.JK admin reiterates the commitment of protecting the lives of innocent civilians&it will ensure there is no injustice”, LG Manoj Sinha’s office tweeted.
It it pertinent to mention here that Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday said that foreign militant Haider, his local associate were among the 4 militants killed in the Hyderpora encounter. However, the families of two slain Aftab Ahmed and Dr Mudasir Gul had refuted the claims of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The families had demanded bodies of both the slain and had staged protest in Srinagar
