BUDGAM: Lieutenant Governor JK (UT) laid the foundation stone for a 125 bedded hospital in the Reshipora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
Lt. Governor on the occasion said that residents of Budgam were eagerly waiting for this project and now their wait is gone and the demand is people will be fulfilled within 1 and half years, in March 2025.
He directed the department of R&B to get this project completed within the stipulated time. He further said that after receiving grievances from district administration and PRI’s for Degree College, we have asked for a cluster University in place of college which will benefit students of the district from every corner. He further said that after Srinagar they are looking for Budgam to be a smart Budgam.
Sinha said that those days are now gone when some elements, who were living luxurious life, were governing whole JK and were giving benefits of their power to their kiths and kins and today’s administration is for welfare and betterment of common people and the administration is of the say that ever coman man should take advantage of resources of government.
While speaking on the occasion chief secretary said that both positive as well as negative elements exists in society and people should mark these negative elements and stay away from them.He also said that LG administration is doing a marvelous job and there are elements which do not want any development and bring hindrances in these works but people need to identify the change and need to help Development doing people, who are in administration,.
In this inaugural function Lt Governor was accompanied by Chief Secretary, Arun Kumar Mehta, Secretary Health, Bupinder Kumar, Div Com, DC Budgam,DDC members of district and other officers were present.
