SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today chaired a meeting to review implementation of Agriculture credit schemes of banking and financial institutions for effective implementation of Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP).

During the meeting, Sinha directed the bank officials & administrative officers for seamless coordination at district level for effective implementation of HADP and 100% saturation of benefits under different Central & UT Schemes of Agri & Allied Sector.

LG also directed the bank officials to appoint Nodal Officer for both Jammu & Kashmir Divisions to monitor the cases received by banks under HADP and other Schemes of Agri & Allied Sector.

Sinh also asked DCs to ensure FPOs are transformed into engines of growth and districts must compete to script success stories of such organisations. Small & Marginal Farmers should be top priority in implementation of HADP.
