BARAMULLA: Security forces Saturday claimed to have arrested a terrorist Associate of LeT outfit arrested at Nagbal Chandoosa area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement, police said joint forces of Baramulla Police & 52 RR placed a MVCP at Shranz Crossing Nagbal Chandoosa. One suspect person who was coming from *Shrunz towards Nagbal Chandoosa* tried to flee while noticing joint naka party but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search one grenade was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. Who was later identified as Mohd Ashraf Mir S/O Mohd Shafi Mir R/O Laridoora Chandoosa and is working as Terrorist Associate of LeT outfit
It is pertinent to mention here that the said Terrorist Associate is a surrendered terrorist. Case under Indian Arms Act & UA (P) Act was registered in Police Station Chandoosa* and investigations was taken up.
