Jammu: Justice Tashi Rabstan is going to perform the duties of Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, upon the retirement of the Chief Justice Ali Mohd Magrey, from Thursday, December 8, 2022.
An order to this effect was issued by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice, on Tuesday.

“In exercise of the power conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Tashi Rabstan, senior most Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, with effect from 08.12.2022, consequent upon the retirment of Justice Shri Ali Mohd Magrey, Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh ” the order read.

The order will come in effect after the consequent retirement of currently serving Justice Ali Mohd Magray, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
