J&K Transport Association rejects Jammu Bandh call by CCI on Mar 11

Jammu: The Transporters Association of Jammu Kashmir has decided not to support the call for Jammu Bandh given by Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Jammu on March.

A statement in this regard has been issued by Secretary All J&K Transport Welfare Association J&K UT, Sanjeev Choudhary which says,

“We the transporters of J&K (UT) consisting all types of commercial vehicles including trucks, tankers, taxis, buses, minibuses, auto rickshaws, etc. The All J&K Transport Welfare Association J&K UT (AJKTWA), is unable to extend the support to the bandh call which is called by the Chamber of Commerce. The transport facility will remain functional  throughout J&K (UT) on 11.03.2023.”

Earlier on Thursday, the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has called for Jammu Bandh on Saturday against the government’s decision of imposing property tax in the municipal areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
