J&K reports 10 new Omicron cases, tally reaches 23

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir has reported 10 new Omicron cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 23.

As per the Statewise status of the Omicron variant, there is a total of 23 Omicron cases in Jammu and Kashmir out of which 6 cases are discharged, recovered and migrated. However, no details are available regarding the case’s history.

It is pertinent to mention here that on December 21, Jammu and Kashmir reported the first three cases of the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2. Whereas, earlier this week, Jammu and Kashmir reported 10 cases, with five each from Jammu and Kashmir division. Out of 10 cases, three were non-local travelers,
