J&K may get new Chief Secretary next month

JAMMU: Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam is likely to be shifted from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for posting at an important assignment at the Centre.

Subrahmanyam will next month complete three years as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. He had taken over as the Chief Secretary on June 23, 2018.

“Several names are under consideration for posting as new Chief Secretary in Jammu and Kashmir by the Central Government,” a report said quoting authoritative sources.

Subrahmanyam is 1987 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre.
