J&K Bank refutes allegation of appointing 950 persons from Haryana & Punjab

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank Wednesday refuted the allegations of appointing 950 persons from Haryana and Punjab in the bank.

The statement from Jammu and Kashmir Bank comes day after the Janata Dal United President for Jammu and Kashmir G M Shaheen claimed that over 950 persons from Haryana and Punjab have been given job in Jammu and Kashmir Bank.

Addressing the press conference on Tuesday Shaheen alleged that over 950 people from outside Jammu and Kashmir have been appointed in Jammu and Kashmir Bank at a time when the unemployment graph of Jammu and Kashmir is on rise.

Refuting the allegation, Jammu and Kashmir issued a statement that reads that the allegations regarding the appointment of 950 persons from Haryana and Punjab in the bank are absolutely false, baseless and complete nonsense. Bank has not made any such appointment as alleged in a news item circulating on social media.
