Japan executes seven doomsday cult leaders behind Tokyo Sarin attack

Japan today executed Seven members of a doomsday cult, which carried out a deadly chemical attack on the Tokyo subway in 1995. The sarin gas attack, Japan’s worst terror incident, had killed 13 people and injured at least 5,800 people, some permanently.

Sarin, a nerve gas, was originally developed by the Nazis. The executions took place at a Tokyo detention house this morning.
