Jan Abhiyan: Owais directs officers to attain 100% saturation in all deliverables

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 21: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad today took a review of all the deliverables to be saturated under “Jan Abhiyan” which is in full swing from 15th- 26th of  October.

In a detailed review, DC directed for saturation of all the deliverables under different schemes. He also directed Officers of Rural Development Department for preparation and finalization of Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) in convergence mode.

Village Haats and CSC camps are to be established and organised respectively in every panchayat by NRLM. Besides, awareness programmes regarding Beams, Aap Ki Zameen Aap Ki Nigraani and other essential services are to be conducted along with saturation of varied Social welfare, farmer welfare and employment generation schemes.

Dr Owais instructed that in every panchayat, installation of hoardings, wall paintings depicting Digital J&K should be completed within the given period.

He stressed on officers of the banks to provide self-employment assistance services at panchayat level and directed that counters should be established in every panchayat for facilitating people.

The DC said that there should be 100% financial inclusion in every panchayat through various financial schemes.

He directed District Manager CSC to ensure organization of field camps and delivery of online service with high quality and ensure cent percent coverage of beneficiaries under various schemes of the government.

Dr Owais laid special emphasis for popularization of “Aap ki Zamin , Aap ki Nigrani”and holding of special campaigns in this Jan Abhiyan  up to 26th of October 2022.

He directed officers of the Health department for 100 percent saturation of Golden cards and asked CMO Bandipora to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitary measures in and around the hospitals.

The DC directed DSWO to provide disability cards under (UDID) in coordination with the Health department. Also, he directed officers of the Education department to hold 200 parent-teacher meetings in different schools under this programme.

He also directed other concerned officers of various departments for cent percent completion of their deliverables be it road transport plan, Tribal plan, Ration card management system, skill development, ensuring of training of cooperative society members, holding of camps, 100 percent online payment by PWD, training of persons under disaster management, ensuring biometric attendance etc.

Jal Shakti Department similarly was directed for activation of all water supply schemes.

He called for holding mega camps and events by all the departments for their services and awareness of the general public, particularly by the agriculture, horticulture and allied departments.

Similarly, the Floriculture department was told to organize awareness camps in different gram panchayats across the district. He stressed the introduction of new varieties of flowers and employment generation initiatives from the department.

The DC directed the Planning department to achieve 100 percent saturation under the aspirational district model. He said convergence will be the key to finish every work.

Besides DPO Bandipora Nodal Officer Coordination Mohd Ashraf Hakak, ACR, JDP, CAHO, ACP, CMO, BDO’s, Executive Engineers of various departments, and all other district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
