Jammu region to get new police chief as Mukesh Singh moves to ITBP

JAMMU: Jammu region is all set to get a new police chief as the incumbent Additional Director General of Police for Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh has proceeded on central deputation as the Inspector General of Police in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
An IPS officer of 1996-batch, Singh will be deputed to ITBP for a period of five years, an official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Tuesday.
