INS Kochi and Tabar reach New Mangalore Port with critical medical stores

INS Kochi and Tabar reached New Mangalore Port today with critical medical stores. Both ships with cumulative consignment of 100 MT Liquid Medical Oxygen in five containers and 1200 Oxygen cylinders, had departed Kuwait for India on 6th of this month. India has expressed gratefulness to traditional partner Kuwait for the consignment.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said in a tweet that India appreciates the generous contribution of 800 oxygen cylinders and two oxygen concentrators from the Indian community based in Kuwait.

Further, a total of 58 ventilators arrived in India today from Luxembourg and five lakh Favipiravir Tablets also arrived from UAE. India has welcomed the gift.
