SRINAGAR: Health and Medical Education Department on Friday appointed an inquiry officer to enquire about the charges levelled against the then BMO Beerwah and others in case FIR no 22/2012 P/S VOK.

According to an order, issued by Secretary Health and Medical Education Bupinder Kumar, Arshad Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has been appointed as inquiry officer.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Arshid Ahmad Lone, Chief Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir as Inquiry Officer to enquire into the matter in light of the charges levelled against Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Banday, the then BMO Beerwah and others in case FIR No. 22/2011 P/S VOK,” the order read.

“The Inquiry officer shall submit a detailed enquiry report along with his recommendation within thirty days positively from the date of issuance of the order,” it reads. “The Block Medical Officer, Beerwah shall be the Presenting Officer to assist the Inquiry Officer to complete the enquiry in a time bound manner.”
