Infiltration bid foiled in Poonch

Defence spokesman in Jammu Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said that the infiltration attempt by the four heavily armed militants was made in Balnoi area of Poonch sector on the intervening night of Thursday/Friday.

Poonch: The Army Friday said that an infiltration bid was foiled along the Line of Control in Poonch districts of Jammu region.
Defence spokesman in Jammu Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said that the infiltration attempt by the four heavily armed militants was made in Balnoi area of Poonch sector on the intervening night of Thursday/Friday.
“The infiltrators were pushed back by the alert army men on the LoC,” the spokesman said. He, however, said that there was no ceasefire violation.
