India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crosses 76 crore mark

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 76 crore mark. Union Health Ministry said, more than 57 crore vaccine doses have been administered as first dose and over 18 crore vaccine doses given as second doses. The Ministry said, more than 57 lakh Vaccine doses have been administered till 7 pm yesterday. The new phase of universalization of COVID-19 vaccination commenced from 21st June this year.

As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, government has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID Vaccines free of cost.
