India witnessing declining trend in active number of Coronavirus cases, Recovery rate crosses 90%

India is witnessing a declining trend in the active number of Coronavirus cases and the recovery rate is continuously improving. The Union Health Ministry said, the recovery rate has crossed 90 per cent today. The Ministry said, over two lakh 83 thousand patients recovered from this infectious disease within 24 hours. So far, over two crore 46 lakh patients have already recovered from this disease.

The active cases of COVID-19 comprise 8.84 per cent of the cumulative positive cases. The Ministry said, there are over 24 lakh 19 thousand active cases in the country at present. The country has registered over two lakh 11 thousand new COVID cases during the last 24 hours.

The Health Ministry said, a total of three thousand 847 deaths were reported in the country within last 24 hours, taking the toll to over three lakh 15 thousand across the country. Meanwhile, Indian Council of Medical Research informed that over 21 lakh 57 thousand COVID tests were conducted yesterday. So far, over 33 crore 69 lakh tests have been conducted in the country.
