NEW DELHI: In the last 24 hours, India reported 10,753 new Covid cases and 27 deaths, the Union health ministry said today.

With this, the active case tally now stands at 53,720.

Six deaths were recorded in Delhi, followed by four in Maharashtra, three in Rajasthan and one each in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The figure also includes six deaths reconciled by Kerala, the data updated at 8 am stated. India reported 11,109 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, the highest in over seven months
