India is committed to work towards goal of sustainable development: Javadekar


Union Information and Broadcasting, and Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that India is committed to work towards the goal of sustainable development. He affirmed that the government believes in walking the talk and has achieved the targets set out by the country at global forums towards promotion of sustainable growth.
Speaking on the ‘Action Agenda for Sustainable and Self-Reliant India’ at the 15th Sustainability Summit-2020 organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today,  the Minister appealed that every country should present their case studies regarding emission of harmful pollutants and actions taken to check such emissions. He said, the developed countries need to rigorously act upon their commitments to check carbon emission.
