In last two weeks, active cases in J&K decline decline from 47,969 to 7,424

India reports 175 Covid cases 24 hours, active caseload declines to 2,570

Recovery rate increases from 87.32 percent to 97.30 percent, reveals data

SRINAGAR: The active cases continue to decrease besides that recovery rate continues to increase in J&K since last two weeks in Jammu and Kashmir.

The third wave of Covid-19 in J&K was on 26 January when the total number of active cases were 47,969.

However, since 26 January the number of recovery cases were more than the number of positive cases every day and the number of active cases has been reduced to 7,424.

In other words, since 26 January, 40,545 persons suffering from the Covid-19 virus have recovered while in the same period 35,101 cases have been reported. Active cases have decreased from 34,400 to 4,506 in Kashmir while active cases have decreased from 13,569 to 2,918 in the Jammu division in the same period.

Moreover, since 26 January the recovery rate has increased from 87.32 per cent to 97.30 per cent in J&K. Furthermore, the death toll in J&K has increased from 4,635 to 4,741 which means since 26 January 106 Covid related deaths have been reported in J&K.

As per the data 106 deaths reported since 26 January including 56 from the Jammu division and 50 from the Kashmir division—(KNO)
