Imbibe Christ’s message of brotherhood, compassion, forgiveness: LG Sinha greets people on Christmas

Jammu: Lt. Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha on Sunday greeted the Christian community on the Christmas festival.

The LG said that the festival epitomizes the spirit of forgiveness and peace, and Christmas is an occasion to celebrate and imbibe Jesus Christ’s message of brotherhood, compassion and forgiveness. 

“May the Christmas this year usher in peace, happiness and joy for all,” LG Sinha hoped.

“Greetings to all on the joyous occasion of Christmas. The festival epitomises spirit of forgiveness & peace. It is an occasion to celebrate & imbibe Jesus Christ’s message of brotherhood,compassion & forgiveness.May the Christmas this year usher in peace, happiness & joy for all,” Office of the LG, J&K took onto Twitter to greet people.

Meanwhile, Former Chief Minister of erstwhile State of J&K and President of newly formed Democratic Azad Party, Ghulam Nabi Azad also wished the christian community on Christmas eve.

 Ghulam Nabi Azad wrote on his social media handle Twitter, “I extend my greetings and best wishes to all our citizens on the joyous occasion of Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. Let’s celebrate this happy occasion by dedicating ourselves to Christ’s eternal message of love, compassion and forgiveness for all. May this joyous festival shower everyone with peace, prosperity and happiness.”

The Christmas Festival is celebrated every year on December 25, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
