IED blast in Turkwangam, Shopian; no injuries reported

SHOPIAN, May 16 (KNO) Suspected militants on Sunday triggered ah Improvised Explosive Device(IED) in Turkwangam area of South kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a low intensity IED was triggered near an army vehicle in Turkwangam , Shopian.

He said that blast took place far from the vehicle and there was no damage reported in this incident besides that there was no injuries reported.

He added that more reinforcement has been rushed to the spot and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers—(KNO)
