Hyderabad encounter: Setting dangerous precedent

The Hyderabad alleged rape and murder had left every one in the country outrageous, demanding for fastest justice, sternest punishment. Taking advantage of this sentiment, the system appears to have enacted a scene straight out of a South Indian thriller to execute extra judicial killings. The country is in cheer mode, and rightly so. But this has set a dangerous precedent. This is of the many things happening in the country to making people believe in slowness of constitution and judiciary. You must have by this time come across hundreds of views including Nirbhaya’s mother that judicial processes are not delivering timely justice. This is massively political. The social sanction to this approach will make our society blood thirsty and give police Carte Blanche to kill on the basis of their suspicion and, and that will keep on getting social acceptance. The judicial system needs improvement, not complete trampling. What kind of a life we are looking forward to.
