Himachal Pradesh celebrates golden jubilee of Statehood Day with full zeal and enthusiasm

Himachal Pradesh is celebrating the golden jubilee of Statehood Day today with full zeal and enthusiasm. It was on this day in 1971 that Himachal Pradesh became the 18th state of India. The golden jubilee function was held at historic Ridge ground in Shimla today. Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur took part in the event.  Speaking on the occasion, the Minister recalled the contribution of all former Chief Ministers for the development of the state.
Mr. Thakur also praised Narendra Modi led union Government and Jai Ram Thakur led Himachal Pradesh government for efficiently tackling covid crisis.
