Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the Central Government has requested the states and union territories to vaccinate all the school teachers on a priority basis. In a tweet today, Mr. Mandaviya said, states have been requested to vaccinate teachers on a priority basis before Teachers Day which will be celebrated on 5th September. He said, more than two crore vaccine doses are being made available to the states, in addition to the plan to provide vaccines to every state this month.
