Health Minister reviews supply and availability of COVID related essential medicines and their buffer stocks in country

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday reviewed the supply and availability of COVID-19 related essential medicines and their buffer stocks in the country. During the review meeting, it was noted that sufficient stocks of all the essential medicines are available. Raw materials for these drugs are also available in enough quantities. The government has created a strategic buffer stock for 8 drugs and all of these are available in the country. These drugs are Tocilizumab, Methyl Prednisolone, Enaxopirin, Dexamethasone,  Remdesivir, Amphotericin B Deoxycholate, Posaconazole and Intravenous Immunoglobulin.
