Chairs meet, focuses on efforts to make transparent, accountable system
RAJOURI: Dr. Haseeb Mughal on Wednesday joined as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rajouri-Poonch range. He was elevated to the post after being inducted in IPS a few months ago.
Dr. Haseeb joined as DIG Rajouri-Poonch range on Wednesday in presence of staff of range headquarters and senior police officers of Rajouri district.
The officer after taking over the charge held a meeting with staff of the range office and took stock of working of all the sections of the office. He focussed on efforts to further make a public friendly, transparent and accountable system.
Dr. Haseeb Mughal has served in various sensitive and prestigious positions which included SDPO Kothibagh, SP Handwara, SP Kishtwar, SSP Baramulla, SSP CID Kashmir, SSP NHW Ramban, SSP Rajouri, AIG Welfare PHQ, SSP Vigilance Jammu, SSP Srinagar as well as SSP PCR Jammu.
Besides, he has also served as OSD to Governor’s Advisor in 2018.
Dr. Hasseb Mughal known for his integrity, administrative & professional skills has served as SSP Srinagar for more than two years during the challenging circumstances (2019-2021) and ensured the effective, accountable, transparent policing system and ensured peace and security in the Srinagar city.
A highly decorated officer, Dr. Haseeb has been an extremely distinguished officer who has earned not only recognition from the government by means of awards, medals and important postings but also has been able to receive huge respect, honour and applause from the society wherever he has served—(KNO)
