Hardeep Singh Puri criticizes Congress party for spreading confusion on vaccination drive, farm laws

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today criticized the Congress party for spreading confusion and lies on the COVID-19 vaccination drive and farm laws. Raising question over the changing statements on the vaccination drive, Mr. Puri alleged that Congress governed states are involved in mismanagement of vaccination drive and making profits from vaccines.

While addressing the media persons in New Delhi, Mr. Puri  said, the Centre has provided over 24 crore doses of COVID vaccines to the States and Union Territories free of cost.

He alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi frequently asks questions over vaccines, but these vaccines have been found in garbage in Rajasthan. He said, Punjab Government is making profit from the vaccines.

On the farm laws, Mr. Puri alleged that confusion has been spread that Minimum Support Price would be stopped and Mandis would be closed. Terming these claims as lies, he said, record procurement of wheat and rice have been made on Minimum Support Price after the enactment of these laws. He said, the amount has directly been transferred in the accounts of farmers.
