Hanging wires on loosely held poles poses serious threat to human lives

Hanging electric poles through apple orchards in Rafiabad has posed a serious threat to human lives as the concerned electric department failed to undue the failures.

Various orchardists of the Watergam and adjacent habitations of Rafiabad have accused PDD of endangering the human lives by leaving electric poles carrying high tension conductors hanging in the orchards.

Many aggrieved locals told that despite their repeated requests the concerned division of the department has failed to make necessary adjustments.

They have appealed the PDD higher authorities to take note of the situation which has according them potential of claiming human lives in case of any eventuality
