JAMMU: Indian Army has continued to maintain strong bonds with its Veer Naris and Widows. To honour and assist the Widows and Veer Naris of the region, the Indian Army conducted a ‘Widows and Veer Naris Grievance Redressal Meet’ at Banihal, Ramban District. The interaction provided a platform wherein their concerns could be heard and necessary corrective measures be initiated with relevant authorities.
Brig SK Saul, Sena Medal, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) addressed the meet and felicitated the Veer Naris and Widows. During the interaction, Widows and Veer Naris were apprised about various welfare and financial schemes launched by Indian Armed Forces/J&K government/Central government and functioning of ESM Help Line, ECHS and Pensioner benefits. The meet stands as a testimonial to the Veer Naris and Widows that the organisation cares for them and always stands by them.
