Goyal to head panel for deciding outsourcing mechanism of Tourism assets

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday entrusted IAS officer Prashant Goyal the chairmanship of a panel constituted to decide the mechanism of outsourcing of the identified assets of Tourism Department in phased manner.

Goyal, who is currently the principal Secretary to government, industries and commerce department, will replace Atul Dullo as the head of the committee, that was constituted in December 2021.

“In a partial modification of government order number 1297- JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 9.12.2021, it is hereby ordered that principal Secretary to government, industries and commerce department shall be chairman in place of financial commissioner (additional chief Secretary), finance department in the said committee,” said an official order in this regard.

Further, Director general codes shall also be the member of the committee, it added.
