Govt says, safety of Indian citizens in Afghanistan is its top most priority

The government today said safety of Indian citizens in Afghanistan is its top most priority. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, the government has evacuated 550 people in six separate flights, either from Kabul or Dushanbe. He said, of these, over 260 were Indians. Mr Bagchi informed that the overall assessment is that the vast majority of Indians who wish to return have been evacuated.
