Govt relentlessly working to build an extensive road network along India-China Border, says Defence Minister

The government is relentlessly working to build an extensive road network along the India-China Border. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, 42 roads having the length of more than one thousand 530 kilometers have been completed so far.

He said, connectivity has been achieved on 59 roads having the length of three thousand 205 kilometers and on the remaining two roads. He said 61 India-China Border roads of length of over three thousand 323 kilometers have been identified as strategically important along India-China Border. Mr. Rajnath informed that 19 India-China Border Roads are under progress which are targeted to be completed by 2023.
