Government has ordered change in school timing across Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division. According to the order vide no. 682-Edu of 2018 dated: 15-05-2018, there shall be a uniform timing in schools across Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division i.e., 9 am to 3 pm with immediate effect.
All the Head of the Government and recognized private schools have been ordered to adhere to the timing in letter and spirit.
