Govt has significantly ramped up India’s diagnostic capacity for Tuberculosis: Dr Harsh Vardhan

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has stressed on Tuberculosis as a critical health challenge in India that has prompted the political leadership to target its elimination by 2025.

He was addressing the Stop TB Partnership meet for the first time after assuming the Chairmanship of the Board, through video-conference in New Delhi. The meeting gains additional importance in the run up to World TB Day celebrations on 24th March. He noted that over the past few years, government has significantly ramped up India’s diagnostic capacity for TB.
