NEW DELHI: The central government has blocked 14 mobile applications used by terrorists in Pakistan as communication platforms to transmit information to Jammu and Kashmir, sources told India Today.

The banned messenger applications include Crypviser, Enigma, Safeswiss, Wickrme, Mediafire, Briar, BChat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Element, Second Line, Zangi and Threema.

The ban by the Centre government comes a week after the Poonch attack which left five soldiers dead and one injured.
