SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Kashmir Tuesday declared the result of the annual regular examination of the 12th standard of the Kashmir division with an overall 75 per cent of students qualifying exam.
As per the result announced by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, girls registered a total pass percentage of 78 per cent while boys registered only 72 per cent. Further, a total of 72,180 students were enrolled for the exams and 54,087 were declared passed.
Also, at least 23,573 students bagged the distinction in the annual regular exams of 12th standard, 20,717 students got first division, 9277 secured second division and 509 passed the exams with third division.
The figures also reveal that in the exams, at least 11 students were having disputed eligibility, 47 students were absent, 09 students were disqualified and an examination was cancelled of 26 students.
The students were given a syllabi relaxation of 40 per cent following the closure of schools in view of the COVID-19 outbreak—(KNO)
