GDC Kunjwani holds seminar on ‘Science Technology and Indian Youth: Challenges and Opportunities’

 

JAMMU: To commemorate World Science Day, Science and Innovation Club of Government Degree College Kunjwani today organized a seminar on the topic “Science Technology and Indian Youth: Challenges and Opportunities” under the Patronship of Principal of the college, Prof Hans Raj.

Dr. Vishal Sharma, HOD Electronics Government  MAM College was the resource person on the occasion. He is a former Fullbright fellow USA, Commonwealth fellow UK and Global Goals Ambassadors, United Nation (UN) Association USA.

The speaker, in his illuminating talk, deliberated in detail about the opportunities and challenges in the field of Science and Technology for Indian Youth. Sharing his global experiences, he motivated students to think of global opportunities and not limit their talents. He also made the students aware regarding various scholarship opportunities in India and abroad.

The Principal of the College, while complementing the efforts of the Science and Innovation Club, motivated the staff to organize more such programmes to provide students a global exposure.

Prof. Shri Kant conducted the proceedings of the seminar, while Dr. Arti Pandoh Gupta, Convener, Science and Innovation Club presented the formal vote of thanks.

Dr. Bhavana Sharma, Dr. Rohini Jamwal  and Dr. Manjeet Singh helped in organization and smooth conduct of the seminar.
