Former IGP Crime & PDP Leader, Raja Aijaz Ali joins People’s Conference .  

Srinagar, Dec 26: The former PDP leader, Raja Aijaz Ali who recently resigned from the basic membership of the party joins Peoples Conference (PC) today in Srinagar.

Former IGP Crime Raja Aijaz Ali contested 2014 assembly elections on PDP ticket from Uri assembly constituency but was defeated by NC candidate Mohammad Shafi Uri. He stood next to Congress candidate Taj Mohi-Ud-Din who was the nearest rival of NC’s Mohammad Shafi in Uri assembly constituency.

Raja joined party in presence of its chairman, Sajjad Gani Lone and other senior leaders.
