Forces lay CASO in Pulwama, Internet Suspended

Srinagar: Internet service was suspended on Wednesday morning after the security forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said the forces launched the CASO in Badriwan forest of Awantipora following inputs about the presence of militants.

They said that the Internet service was suspended soon after searches were launched in the area.
