Srinagar: Train service remained suspended for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday in south Kashmir following the killing of seven civilians in Pulwama district.
The train service has however resumed in the north after remaining suspended for three days.
An official said that train service in north Kashmir has been resumed after remaining suspended for three days, adding train service will remain suspended in south Kashmir for the fourth day today.
He said that trains will run between Srinagar-Budgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in the north as per schedule today.
However, he said, no train will chug on Srinagar-Islamabad-Qazigund in south Kashmir with Banihal in Jammu, an official said.
