Says no need to offer prayers in homes, Masjid committees must keep Sanitizers at main entries of every masjid
SRINAGAR: Karwan-e-Islami Patron Alama Sheikh Ghulam Rasool Hami Sunday said that people must follow proper SoPs and maintain social distancing in every masjid across Kashmir to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Alama Hami said that people should not stop going to masjids. “People should go to masjids but follow proper SoPs and maintain a gap of at least two or more feet (person to person).
Masjid Committees should also keep sanitizers at the entry points of masjids across Kashmir,” he said. Alama Hami said that people must also spent time in Zikro Azkaar, Durood, and Naaat Khawanis in masjids and pray to Almighty to take away the virus.
He said the fasting month of Ramadhan is a blessed month in which prayers never go unheard. “People should seek forgiveness for their sins and also pray to Almighty to save people of J&K from the deadly pandemic,” Alama Hami said—(KNO)
