Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is holding Pre-Budget consultations with leading experts in infrastructure, energy and climate change in New Delhi.
The meeting held in connection with the forthcoming Union Budget 2021-22 is being attended by Minister of State for Finance, Anurag Thakur, Finance Secretary Dr A.B. Pandey, Secretary Department of Economic Affairs, Tarun Bajaj and  Chief Economic Adviser K V Subramanian  besides other senior officials. This is the 11th Pre-Budget consultation meeting. 
Earlier, the Minister had meetings with captains of financial and capital markets, top industrialists, industry and commerce associations, trade bodies and experts and others to seek ideas for the Union Budget.
