Family urges Governor to intervene as boy goes missing from Pattan

Family members staged protest and appealed state administration to intervene as the youth is missing since 22 March 2019 from Pattan, District Baramulla.

Family members of the missing person Jan Mohd Bhat, S/O Asadullah Bhat, left home on March 22 and since then, has not returned home. He works as a driver with Jio and is a resident of Mamoosa area of Pattan.

“We tried to call him, but his phone is switched off,” Jan’s brother said.

The family members and relatives assembled at press enclave and staged a protest demonstration urging government to help them in tracing Jan.

The family lodged a missing report on March 23, but there is no development or information. “Jan has no criminal record and has no police case against his name,” family said.
