Udhampur: Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna Friday convened a meeting of officers of different departments here in Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex to review the implementation of self employment schemes.
DC took extensive department/ scheme wise review of cases sanctioned under Mumkin, Tejaswini, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and other self employment oriented schemes.
Officers of concerned departments apprised the DC about the status of coverage of beneficiaries under various self employment schemes of their departments.
The DC exhorted the officers to ensure maximum coverage of unemployed youth of the district under different schemes and directed them to work in close coordination and help the youth in getting enrolled under various ambitious schemes.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Shyam Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar and other district heads of various departments were present.
