Rawalpindi: England have broken the world record for scoring most runs in the first session of a Test match.

England scored 174/0 in 27 overs in the first session of their first Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The previous record was held by India, who scored 158/0 in the first session of their Test against Afghanistan in 2018. (Agencies)
