Elderly man dies in Handwara mishap

An elderly man died on Saturday after the vehicle he was travelling in met with an accident near at Govt Degree College Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The deceased was identified as Mohd Ramzan Mir, son of Abdul Aziz Mir, resident of Gund Karim Khan Watergam Rafiabad.

“Around 2:45 pm on Saturday, Mohd Ramzan was on his way to Sopore when his four wheeler bearing registration number JK05B-4528 rams the wall, resulting in his on spot death,” Station House Officer (SHO) Handwara, Azam Iqbal Khan said.
