JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday affected a major administrative reshuffle, transferring as many as 17 officers including 12 IAS officers, even as eight districts in the union territory have got new Deputy Commissioners (DCs).
Baseer-u-Haq Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, vice Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch vice Inderjeet, who further has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, SIDCO. “Inderjeet would also hold the charge of the post of Managing Director, SICOP, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” said an official order in this regard.
Inderjeet will replace Rakesh Minhas, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, vice Rahul Pandey, while Sachin Kumar Vaishy, Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, vice Kritika Jyotsna.
Both Jyotsna and Pandey have been directed to wait for further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, and Abhishek Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA would swap their place of postings, while Akshay Labroo, Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, holding additional charge of Director, Information, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
Labroo will replace Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag vice Basharat Qayoom, who in turn will replace Baseer-u-Haq Chaudhary as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama.
Faz Lul Haseeb, Director, Tourism, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian,
Minga Sherpa, Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
“Sherpa will also hold the charge of the posts of Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation and Director, Information, J&K, as additional charges,” said the official order.
Raja Yaqoob Farooq, Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, holding additional charge of the post of Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir vice Faz Lul Haseeb.
Shiv Kumar Gupta, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, vice Pankaj Magotra, who has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Power Development.
