Effort is being made to ensure last mile delivery of public welfare measures: Dr Owais

BANDIPORA: Continuing the activities of Good Governance Week, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Bandipora today toured different spots of Bandipora town to take on spot assessment of availability of essential services for public and infrastructure development.

The DC was accompanied by District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, ADC Bandipora Waseem Raja, JD planning Imtiyaz Ahmad and other concerned.

On the occasion, the DC visited fire service station Bandipora to take first hand appraisal of functioning and available infrastructure of fire service station Bandipora.

He also visited the available land with the industries department in the main market Bandipora and took inspection of various compartments there.

Dr. Owais said that every effort is being made to ensure last mile delivery of public welfare measures. He said District administration is on the forefront of the Good Governance mantra and to provide services to the public at their doorsteps.  During his visit, the DC stressed on maintaining cleanliness in the town and making best use of available infrastructure for the benefit of the public.
