Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has greeted people on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. In a tweet, Mr Pradhan said, on this day in 1927, India’s first-ever radio broadcast went on air from Bombay station. He said, an integral part of our life since then, All India Radio continues to bind the nation together through both entertainment and information.
